Download a website backup
We take daily backups of your website and keep 14 days of history. These backups are always available for you to download, just login to SFTP and browse to the backup/ folder.
For the best compression, backups are in the .tar.gz format. To unpack the archive, we recommend using 7-Zip.
Once you're ready to go with your new provider, you can safely delete your website property from the Trenclo Dashboard.
Download an SQL backup
We also take daily backups of your SQL databases, whether you're using MySQL or PostgreSQL. As with websites, there will be up to 14 days of historical backups available for you to download.

Start a domain transfer
If you've found another registrar to manage your domains, you'll need some help from our support team to move your domain over. The steps you will need to take to prepare for the transfer are as follows.
- Initiate an incoming transfer with your chosen provider
- You'll be provided an authorisation code to send to us
- Enter *all* of your DNS records into your new registrar's zone editor
- Get in touch with our support team who will handle the rest
As with all registrars, we are charged a variable fee for outgoing transfers which must be passed onto the customer. Once the steps above have been completed, we'll send an invoice for the transfer. When this has been paid, we will release the domain for transfer as soon as possible.
As soon as we've confirmed the website has completed migration to your new service, we will delete your domain property and disable auto-renew on your subscription.
